When reproducing original art work from a non-digital format, we find the best results are obtained by scanning. Scanning, unlike most photography, can capture very fine detail down to the smallest brush stroke.

We can of course work from existing digital files, and will examine your files free of charge to assess their potential for repro purposes. We can, for example, let you know the maximum size at which they could be printed.

We can cope with most file formats but if you send JPEGs please don't compress them - it can cause loss of detail.

At the risk of sounding technical, if you've done your own proofing to a specific printer/media combination, send us the relevant ICC profiles and we'll match as closely as we can.
