Papers and Other Media

We print with an Epson large-format printer using Epson Ultrachrome inks and mainly use Epson papers.

Canvas: A heavyweight (340gsm), fine-weave, 100% cotton canvas for digital printing, suitable for stretching onto box frames.
Somerset Velvet: A 330 gsm, 100% cotton acid-free paper, which is like a top quality watercolour paper – not an Epson paper, but sold by Epson. It is pale cream in colour and is exceptionally thick, heavy and luxurious.
Epson Watercolour Radiant White: This is similar in texture to the Somerset paper but brighter and slightly lighter in weight. We find it particularly suitable for reproducing very vivid colours.
Photo Pearl: A 270gsm, sily and sensuous semi-matte photographic paper – excellent for all photographic work, including black and white.
Digital Matte: A 230gsm graphic arts paper.
